When I first started on the blogs a couple of months ago I saw a beautiful quilt done with batiks and quilted with lines. I believe she called it Currents. I wish I could remember who made it. I fell in love with it and wanted to do something like it.
I bought some batik scraps from Getsassed on Etsy aka Sew Fantastic added a few of my own to make this. It will be a purse. I used a variegated thread. Here is a close up.

I love batiks! They are my favorite fabrics I rarely use them because I do not want to cut them. lol
