Liberated churn and dash!

I had to put away my daughters word quilt. (inspired by Lazy gal Quilting check out her tutorials) My son is home for spring break and I don't want him to see it as I want to make him one also and he isn't very good at keeping secrets from his sister. So I started playing with making some liberated Churn and Dash.
And playing with scraps making wonkey houses and playing with other kinds of pieced blocks.

I was thinking of making a couple of baby blanket size so I could easily free motion quilt them. If you check out Quilt Messing Around Feb 16 Broken Stained Glass quilt. I love the look of her quilting.

  4. Hi there! Thought I'd stop by to say "thanks for stopping by my blog!" I cruised through some of your recent posts about your trip to Ireland - I'm SO jealous that you had a month there! I think I could have stayed... indefinately. :) I've been sick since I got back - so I'm just getting the posts up about our trip - feel free to check back over the next week to find more stories!
